We have been on a two-year mission to provide a tasty, portable and stomach-friendly alternative to sports gels, with twice the energy and zero mess.
Drawing on core expertise from 20 years working in nutrition product development, we considered the key areas of palatability, portion control, energy delivery, stomach comfort and handiness. In short, we wanted a highly functional product that was enjoyable to use. VOOM Pocket Rocket energy bars deliver on every level.
The ultimate test for our products is always: would we use them ourselves?

Head of Science & Research
Jack of all trades, master of… everything! Farmer, Doctor of Psychophysiology, GB Mountain Runner turned elite road cyclist and World Champion.
Proper northern lass, sport scientist, fell runner, road cyclist, baker and queen of café rides.
With a wealth of experience in working with leading nutrition brands to call on, he is a good sounding board in the office. A keen sailor, skier and new to Nordic walking, most weekends you’ll find him racing or training somewhere in the lakes.

Carry keeps us all in check, making sure the books balance. When she’s not in the office, she can be found rowing, Nordic walking or skiing.
Sales & Marketing
Sport mad from a young age, and now with almost 15 years of experience (including elite level) in his chosen sport of triathlon, Beau loves to be up on the fells or exploring the countryside on two wheels. He studied Sport Science and Physiology and also has experience in triathlon coaching. Having used many of the sports nutrition products on the market, Beau’s now enthusiastic to help us develop quality sports energy products. (Photo credit Ian Cook)
Away from Voom HQ, Callum creates and manages the public content on VOOM's social media platforms, which has allowed him to gain a brilliant online reputation. Being a professional events photographer and photoshop guru does help! When he’s not scrolling social media trying to identify potential target customers, he’s off hiking in the fells or finding the biggest rock he can climb!
